Cage's Punk Rock Moment:  OVER THE EDGE

While not a movie about punk rock, it is a movie about authority, teenage rebellion and what it's like to be an outcast kid living in suburbia.  This 1979 classic features Matt Dillon and was an inspiration for the music video for Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit.

The soundtrack featured Cheap Trick, Van Halen, The Cars, Ramones, and more.  Jonathan Kaplan directed this film and later directed The Accused with Jodie Foster.

This is a must see film!
