"Translating at the Olympics" - 1996

With all the talk about the Olympics due to Chicago losing out on hosting, it reminded the guys about a bit they did while back at WLTF in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1996 the Olympics were held in France so many of the arena announcements were done in French. Here’s Jay translating a female announcer’s introductions on the closing night. As a side note… that year the Olympic Torch came through Cleveland and Jay had a chance to actually hold it and take a step with it. But the security team and police intervened when he pulled out a cigar and tried to light it with the torch.
